I believe that the Lord uses gospel music to convict lost souls and to lift the hearts of believers. I believe it is my duty to obey His directive in Luke 14:23 to
"Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled".
At the age of four, my parents took me with them to sing at churches throughout southern Ohio. I was literally singing before I could read or write!
As I grew older, the desire to serve Him as my parenets had became a charge on my life, so after a short time with the Payne Trio, I was excited about joining the Gospel Harmony Boys at the age of sixteen.
"With nearly two million miles in the rear view mirror, it is my goal to continue as long as it is the Lord's will."
The inspiration to write came early, and my first song, "His Love is So Boundless to Me", was recorded by both the Harmony Boys and the LeFevres. Since that time, God has privileged me to pen numerous songs, and, again and again, He has blessed them and allowed them to reach thousands of people through some of gospel music's favorite artists and groups.
Through the years, I have been part of groups like The Sentries and Tribute, but I am always thankful that God gives the songs and opens the doors. With nearly two million miles in the rear view mirror, it is my goal to continue as long as it is the Lord's will. The journey has generated lots of wonderful Christian friends, and some day we'll all sing together on Heaven's streets.
